Unified-contract and distribution-network contractors do not buy an ordinary aerial platform. The requirement is a fully insulated 46,000 V platform compliant with ANSI A92.2 CAT C as adopted by the Saudi Electricity Company. A non-insulated platform is not permitted near a live line at all.
We supply Italian C.O.M.E.T platforms with 16 m working height and 11 m outreach, and wider models for longer reach — typically with four outriggers, an oil pump, anti-sway protection, an earthing reel and full installation on the chassis.
Cable pulling — the machine many overlook
A cable drum trailer lifts the drum itself, transports it and controls pulling speed during laying, using an independent hydraulic unit towed behind a pickup or truck. Without it you need a crane to lift the drum and a crew controlling the pull by hand — and uneven pulling damages the cable insulation. Our GQAM25 is locally manufactured, which supports the local-content clause in a tender.
